In their search for a meaningful identity, people all too often deny others the right to exist. Exclusion, racism, antisemitism and islamophobia are also regularly found in newspapers, on television and in social media. How can we arrive at a language that doesn’t reduce people to categories? Can we learn to really talk to one another? And what does this mean for our communal thought?
