politics of the future
democracy, power and collective responsibility
Freedom feels self-evident, until it no longer is. What follows when our voice slowly disappears, institutions begin to wobble, and the rules of the game shift without us noticing? Does that create space for new forms of hope and perspective?
Within politics of the future, we examine how power operates today – both visible and invisible – and what that demands of us as citizens. Is our political system still equipped for the world we live in? Or are we holding on to something that no longer works? We search for new forms of responsibility, engagement and resistance. Not tomorrow, but now.
This subtheme is part of the shape of us, in which we explore, from different perspectives, what it means to live together.
